The silver pendant is inspired by Germanic clasps from the first century AD from Germany and the Czech Republic. The boar has always been one of the revered animals for its strength. Norse helmets are sometimes decorated with boars on top. A boar was an honoured animal among the Celts, as evidenced by Celtic sculptures, such as perhaps the most famous boar from Tábor in the Czech Republic.
