Algiz
Product description
Symbol of the triple branches first appears on pottery of the Stone Age. It probably symbolized a tree or the Tree of the World, but it can also symbolize gods (?) by invoking a figure with outstretched arms. This symbol is also documented in the Czech Republic on bottoms of Celtic vessels in the first centuries BC. This is probably a magical sign protecting the contents of the vessel. It can also be seen on stone carvings of the Bronze Age of Norse Germanic tribes. This symbol later appears as the rune of Algiz (Protection) in their mythology. Bronze pendant, size even with a loop in length is 3,3 cm.
